It is now operating
organizational structure of the association ARIDO that will take care of all the
medical examiner connected to the discovery of human remains and their
identification, cataloging, retrieval, storage, delivery to the competent
authorities as well as forensic diagnostics.
The Team consists of working in partnership with the Group Academic Social and
Forensic Sciences forensic, Prof Cosimo already Lorč Institute of Forensic
Medicine of the University of Siena.

This constitution was necessary because of the multitude of remains found
during missions ARIDO (including the alleged discovery of the remains of the
pilot D.Copping, to be confirmed) and in accordance with the mission of the
Association.
The team will work closely with the local authorities using the techniques of
forensic archeology as well as all the diagnostic equipment made available by
the University of Cairo.
The ability to identify fallen dispersed, the need to provide answers to the
many family members who contact us are among the commitments ARIDO has taken and
intends to take forward.
A brief partnership and they will come other ARIDO Forensic Pathology another
landmark in the study and dissemination of the historical memory of the Africa
Campaign

We have been
told that an Egyptian travel agency, the same which organized trips to the P40
with prices much higher than normal market price, has obtained the authorization
for the recovery of P40 and to transfer it to the museum of El Alamein, where it
will be available to visitors without having to face long, uncomfortable and
off-road journeys.
Up to here it
goes more or less well although I would have a lot of questions to these
authorities that have granted "exclusive" permission without even contacting
other and more qualified suppliers (I'm talking about REAL COMPANIES
specialized in recovery, with a due and well known experience), contacting other
bidders.
This certainly
would allow to obtain a better price after the acceptance of the technical
proposal.
Again, up to
now the squeal of pure economic interest against the historical value of an
object, a situation or a story is a sound well known to those of us who are
interested in history and to history has devoted a great part of their life.
Do not go over
well if who has the duty to remember rather forget that over there, somewhere in
1942, died a British pilot of 24 years, whose remains have never been officially
discovered.
A British
pilot who to serve his country took off that day of 1942 but neither arrived to
destination nor came back .
A guy that the
authorities seem to have forgotten: better a name already written (by others) in
the cemetery at El Alamein than huge headaches to organize, manage and carry out
missions of research like what we of ARIDO have carried out (three
times).......but these are just an example.
However, such
things create more anger than discouragement and pain.
ARIDO will not
stop the research, because of unfulfilled promises of support from the
authorities (we have been also offered cooperation to expedite the customs
entry, visa and travel to the location of the plane).
To the same
authorities we provided without asking a penny all the documentation gathered
during the first two missions to the P40.
Authorities but
also representatives of one of the major museum have thanked ARIDO for our work
and requested to keep duly informed on the progress of our research.
Is with this
state of mind that ARIDO shortly will be organizing a further self-funded
mission (the fourth) to find the remains of Flight Sergeant DC Copping starting
from that very small shelter in the shade where we found in June some human
remains, of which have been promptly informed the British and Egyptian
authorities, but ...........
Human remains
that whatever will be the 'outcome of the next mission ARIDO will bury building
on the place a memorial stone with this wording WELL KNOWN TO GOD.
We hope that
sometime in the future anybody will decide that is worth to see If these are the
remains of DC Copping or...... his own country will prefer to forget him?
All this while
others from their comfortable armchair in a controlled and AC environment will
enjoy the piece of the pie that represents the recovery of P40, which will be
delivered to them directly at home.

مع الحزن والغضب تلقينا اخبار من اصدقائنا المقيمين بالواحة البحرية, انة في نهاية
الاسبوع فقط
18\19 مايو 2012 ,وصلنا لنفس الواحة وجدنا ثلاث سيارات (ليس بقطاع طريق)بها اربع
اشخاص
وهذة المرة طلبت منهم مرافقتنا للحصول معا علي بي 40 .
ولهذا الغرض دفعت لكل فرد ما يعادل ثلاث اضعاف تكلفة رحلات 4*4 القياسية في
الصحراء.
يبدو ان هؤلاء اللصوص لقد اتخذت بالفعل خطوات لازالة القطع والاجزاء الكبيرة
والصغيرة الناتجة
من تحطيم بي 40 .
نشير بالاضافة الي هذة اللصوص كان معهم الاحداثات الجغرافية ل بي 40 وتلقت دفعة من
شخص ما .

الاستعدادات لذهاب فريق أريدو
لمنطقة اكتشاف الطائرة مرة أخرى فى يونيو
سوف تتم هذه المهمة فى اليوم الأول
من شهر يونيو، وتعتبر الرحلة الاستكشافية رقم 108 لجمعية ARIDO حيث
سيذهب الباحثون للصحراء الغربية لتفقد حالة الطائرة بعد معرفة بعض المصريين
المحليين مكان هذا الاكتشاف.
سوف يتم أثناء هذه الزيارة البحث عن
أى بقايا أو رفات للطيار فى المنطقة المحيطة بتحطم الطائرة. ولقد قامت جمعيةARIDO بالاتصال
والتنسيق مع السلطات المصرية والبريطانية فى هذا الشأن، وتهدف هذ البعثة فى يونيو
التنسيق أيضاً مع السلطات المصرية والبريطانية من أجل وضع خطة لترميم هذا الاكتشاف
الهام.
سوف يحضر هذه المهمة الجديدة كل من
أندرو ودانيالى كممثلين لقلعة Bramafam (شركاء
أريدو) بالإضافة إلى مصور وصحفى.
وسوف تساهم كل من Siwa
Paradise و Italegyc
Group فى
الدعم اللوجيستى والمادى لهذه الزيارة الهامة لأريدو فى الصحراء الغربية لفحص حالة

FIRST SESSION OF STUDY AND SPREAD WITH THE
STUDENTS OF THE SADAT CITY UNIVERSITY IN
CAIRO FACULTY OF TOURISM AND HOTEL
MANAGEMENT
www.arido.eu and www.qattara.it have been receiving pressing
requests
from universities, ministries and several associations from
abroad
in order to better and to make easier the task of
communication
and spreading of the news related to both the web
sites
writing the texts in English and Arabic language.
In
this regard both the web sites, distinguished for the high respect
to
the people which guest them during the researching missions
and beyond, will be starting by the beginning of January 2012 to
fulfil these important requests.
www.arido.eu will open a new
office in Cairo/Alexandria (Egypt) by
the forthcoming month of January, while starting by February 2012
(if
the political situation will keep improving as it seems, so far,)
another
one will be opening in Tripoli (Libya).
The above will permit to improve further on the relationships with
the local authorities and to develop further partnerships

التذكارى لعبدالرسول عجيلة، ونجد فى اليسار السيد محمد عجمى المسئول عن إنشاء
المشروع وتحديد تكلفته.
وقد كان مدير
المقابر العسكرية الإيطالية بالعلمين على علم بجمعية الباحثين المستقلين فى الصحراء
الغربية ARIDO
عن طريق زيارة الموقعين الإلكترونيين

، وكان مرحباً بفكرة مشروع إنشاء نصب
تذكارى لإحياء ذكرى عبدالرسول عجيلة، حيث قام مع أ.محمد عجمى بتصحيح بعض الجوانب
الفنية لتحسين المشروع وتقليل المدة التى سوف تستغرق فى بناءه وتقليل التكلفة،
والتى سوف تتحملها جمعية
ARIDO
بالكامل.
وأخيراً تم تقرير
أن موقع النصب التذكارى سوف يكون على يسار المدخل بجانب مقابر الليبيين، كما هو
موضح فى الصورة.
وينبغى فى هذا
الخصوص أن نتذكر كتابات باولو كاشي دومنيونى
العلمين 1933- 1962

الجنود الليبيون
الذين يبلغ عددهم مائتان واثنان وثلاثون عسكرياً ليبياً، لن يكون من المناسب دفنهم
بالمقبرة المزمع إنشاءها للإيطاليين لأن المسلمسن لديهم قواعد صارمة فى عملية الدفن
مما يستوجب عمل مدفن خاص بهم، وما المانع حتى من إنشاء مسجد صغير لهم للتعبد فيه؟
انتهى اللقاء
ووافقت السفارة مع تسليم ملف كامل لمشروع إنشاء النصب التذكارى، وقبل الذهاب اتفقنا
على موعد آخر الأسبوع القادم فى العلمين لاستكمال بعض التفاصي الصغيرة التى لا يمكن
استكمالها عن طريق التليفون أو الانترنت، ولا يمكن تركها للصدفة أو المفاجأة.
إضافة لذلك

ARIDO has
carried out the second
official survey at the
Italian Military Cemetery
of El Alamein
to identify the point where
the monument in memory
of the Knight
of the Italian Republic Abdel
Rasoul Aghila will be established.
The vice president of
ARIDO met the Director
of the
Italian Military Cemetery,
Marshal Matteo Beretta and
the director of the company that
has the
contract for all maintenance
work and masonry work inside
the perimeter of the Cemetery,
Mr. Mohamed Agami.
On the right, the
Director of the
Italian Military Cemetery,
Marshal Matteo
Beretta, in the middle, the Vice President of ARIDO
holding the dossier of the project for the monument in memory of Abdel Rasoul,
and Mohammed Agami who is in charge of construction work is on the left.
The Director
of the
Italian Military Cemetery,
Marshal Matteo Beretta
already knew Association of Independent Researchers in Western Desert (ARIDO)
through the website of ARIDO and the site www.qattara.it ARIDO, he was impressed
with the project of the construction of
monument dedicated to Abdel Rasoul Aghila and together with Mr. Mohamed Agami
developed some technical aspects to improve the project and to optimize the
timing and costs which, as noted, will be borne entirely by ARIDO.
Finally, it was decided that the construction of the monument will be in the
area immediately to the left of the entrance to the courtyard, next to the
resting place of the fallen Libyan soldiers.
In this regard the writings of Paolo Caccia Dominioni
should be reported (again)

The Fallen Libyan Soldiers, two hundred thirty-two can not find a place in the
future shrine, because Muslims have strict rules of burial, so they will have a
separate cemetery. Why not get even a small mosque for worship?

Alamein the file containing the entire project for the construction of the
monument.
